Is acupuncture safe?

YES. Acupuncture is extremely safe and natural. Side effects are very minimal. Our practitioner takes every measure to ensure the hygiene and effectiveness as all healthcare professionals do.

Does acupuncture Hurt?

NO. Each acupuncture needle is as thin as a human hair. There is very minimal pain. Can expect the initial tiny prick like a mosquito bite followed by a dull achy sensation that quickly goes away after the needle is in place.

How long is the treatment?

First time treatment is approximately 1 hour. Each follow up visits can range from 30 min to 45 min.

How many treatments will I need?

The number and frequency varies from person to person depending on the seriousness and complexity of illness. While one treatment may be effective, results are cumulative and multiple visits are therefore recommended.

Does acupuncture require a long time dependency?

No. In most cases, 2 treatments a week are recommended for the first two weeks and then lessen the frequency as your health problem decreases. Many patients come in once a week or once every two weeks to maintain their health. You may choose not to receive more treatments once your health concern is solved.

Does insurance cover acupuncture?

Many insurance companies cover acupuncture. We will gladly submit your insurance claim as a courtesy.
